Fire load calculations

In spite of preventive measures in a building there is always the danger of an existing fire. The development of a starting fire depends on the fire load in the construction and inventory of a building. The fire load therefore can influence the needed fire protection measures.

The fire load can influence the following fire protection measures:

• the fire resistance of constructions and materials;
• the size of fire compartments.

By making fire load calculations the advisors from HAC can examine if fire protection measures can be adjusted.
