Evacuation calculations

Because many people can be present in a building, it can be hard to judge whether in an emergency those persons can escape the building safely. In this case an evacuation calculation can prove if the evacuation plan is satisfactory.

The advisors from HAC have extensive experience in making evacuation calculations. They will judge if the evacuation plan is satisfactory for the inhabitants. If the evacuation plan is not sufficient, they can analyze how to adjust the design properly.

The evacuation calculation will judge the following subjects:

  • the organization of emergency exits in a building;
  • the capacity of fire escapes;
  • the capacity of staircases.
